Staying in Step with the Lord

"Trust GOD from the bottom of your heart;

Our mentors are often asked difficult questions about leadership. The best advice we offer is when we guide them back to the Lord. The Lord knows the best path of the ministry and the best path for you. Lean into Him and ask Him for wisdom and discernment.

Five Stone Mentoring is in a season of growth and possible change. My daily prayer is that I honor God in all my decisions and never get out of step with the Lord. If I move too fast, the timing might be off for success. We could miss amazing connections if I drag my feet out of fear. Like a beautiful waltz, leaders must stay in step with the Lord as He leads the way.

Another crucial piece to staying in step is to know the Father’s voice. If you are not spending consistent time with the Lord, you cannot learn His voice. This statement is not to judge or condemn you. Consider it a loving reminder from a friend. Time with the Lord is not a luxury but a necessity for any Christian leader.
